Continued education in: Strain Counter Strain, Muscle Energy Techniques, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, posture, specific course training for the ankle & foot, shoulder and lumbo-pelvic-hip regions; also received aquatic training in Halliwick and Bad Ragaz techniques.
Since becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in 2006, Jennifer has enjoyed seeing inpatients in the hospital as well as outpatients for both land and aquatic based exercise programs. On land, her approach is directed to core strengthening and normalized joint function and alignment as well as balancing, strengthening and stretching each body region for improved overall function. Aquatic therapy is her passion and she enjoys using traditional strengthening approaches but also treats patients with Bad Ragaz, a supine, supported technique for patients. Prior to becoming a PTA, she worked eleven years as an Aquatic Exercise Specialist and Aquatic Exercise Instructor.
