Erin loves helping people of all ages to improve their function. Whether through a simple gait/functional task analysis or a higher level sport analysis, Erin enjoys evaluating her patients using a biomechanicalapproach. “Therapy is a great complement to other medical interventions because it empowers patients to learn how to reduce pain and heal by using their own bodies,” says Erin. She has been trained in Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Chris Powers’ Return to Sport Assessment/Protocol. Ultimately, she is interested in starting an injury prevention program in the area and working with young athletes to stop injuries before they happen. Erin is excited to be here at WHMC and have the opportunity to work with the wonderful staff—she looks forward to meeting everyone!
Erin earned her bachelor degree in Exercise Science from Southeastern Louisiana University and went on to graduate with aDoctorate in Physical Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville in 2018. Erin has experience in pediatrics, neurology, orthopedics, and sports medicine. She has had a chance to work with professionalathletes (NFL, NBA, professional ballet), high school/college students, as well as the geriatric population.
